The Zanesville Housing Study and Needs Assessment
The City of Zanesville is conducting a Housing Study and Needs Assessment to assess the City’s current and future housing needs and has retained Bowen National Research to conduct the Study.
An important part of this Study is gathering community input. The Zanesville Resident Housing Needs Survey, an online survey, has been created to assess Zanesville residents’ perspective on the housing needs of the City, as well as their current housing situation.
All Zanesville residents are encouraged to participate in the survey, which will take approximately ten minutes. All survey responses will remain confidential. The Zanesville Resident Housing Needs Survey is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/zanesville_resident through the end of March 2019.
The Zanesville Housing Study and Needs Assessment, which will be completed in summer 2019, involves the collection and analysis of various data sets, community input, and numerous metrics to help understand key demographic, economic, and housing issues and trends. The Study will conclude with housing gap estimates (which will illustrate the housing shortages in the market), the identification of housing priorities, as well as recommendations for housing policies and strategies that should be considered to help address housing issues existing in the local market.
