¤ Major Responsibilities:
Litter prevention and recycling grants administration, education for adults and youth, awareness activities; litter collection on public property and litter law enforcement; supervise jail trusty and court ordered public hours used for city-wide clean up.

¤ Standard Services Provided:
Education of public on solid waste/recycling/litter prevention; coordinates city-wide volunteer clean- ups, Muskingum River sweep; provides litter containment, including litter collection assistance, for major public events.
¤ Areas of Service Not Generally Known:
Resource speaker for groups, businesses, classrooms; solid waste/litter prevention/recycling library- books, pamphlets, videos, magazines available for research.
