Major Responsibilities

Parks & Recreation

Scheduling recreation events, park shelter houses, bandwagon and portable restroom rentals. Preparing soccer fields for spring and fall leagues.

Parks Maintenance

• Maintenance of city parks, playgrounds, bike trail
• Snow removal on sidewalks around city owned buildings, parking lots and bike trail.

Standard Services Provided

Parks & Recreation

• Spring and fall soccer leagues
• Parks maintenance and tree trimming

Parks Maintenance

• Mow grass, pickup litter, mark playing field
• repair playground equipment
• Deliver and pick up the bandwagon, portable restroom, picnic tables

Areas of Service Not Generally Known

Liaison with community organizations requesting use of City park facilities, serves on City Tree Commission.

PickleBall Courts

Now known as the Fred Noll Courts. They are located at the Maple Hill Park, off of Taylor Street. The courts were completed in October of 2016.
