Sidewalk Clearing

Just a reminder to all local businesses: sidewalks must be cleared so pedestrians have safe places to walk. Presently, sidewalks are not cleared, which is forcing people to walk in the streets. Please be courteous and a good neighbor.

Zanesville Codified Ordinance 905.011: REMOVAL OF SNOW OR ICE FROM PAVEMENTS OR SIDEWALKS.

The owner or occupier of property upon improved streets within the City, whether the sidewalks along the same be paved or not, shall keep such sidewalk or pavement free and clear from snow and/or ice in front of his, her, or their respective property.
